Commonwealth Scholarship Phd College


Phd College Applicants must have completed Masters in the subject or other fields related to the minimum 65% marks for Ph.D. and must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in subjects above or other related field with minimum 65% marks for Masters level study. Where percentage marks are not available and the value mentioned, the candidate must indicate the conversion formula adopted by lnstitution / University and also should indicate equivalent percentage of marks.
The candidates should not be more than 40 years as on 05.20.2011.
Phd College Applicants for the scheme must meet the following general eligibility criteria and state, pre-defined or specific areas of selection criteria established by NZAlD and nominating authority.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

At the very least, to qualify to apply for a scholarship, applicants must:
(I) has the citizenship of a Commonwealth developing country;
(Ii) who are in their home countries for at least two years before application;
(Iij) do not have citizenship or permanent residence status in New Zealand or Australia, or other developing countries, unless their country does not issue passports and they hold a New Zealand passport;
(Iv) is not married or engaged to be married to the person who holds, or is eligible to hold, citizenship or permanent residence status in New Zealand, Australia or other developed countries, unless their country does not issue passports and they hold a New Zealand passport
(V) will apply to start a new qualification and not seek funding for one have started on a PhD or Masters level;
(Vi) meet the admission requirements of the New Zealand educational institutions, the qualifications that must be done, including English language criteria;
(Vii) has been working in their country of citizenship, preferably for at least two years prior to application;
(Viii) entered into a first class standard (or above), or first class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification, which will usually be a Master;
(Ix) will be available to begin their academic studies in New Zealand with New Zealand's first academic year in February 2012;
(X) will be studying full time at post-secondary level;
(Xi) will be transferring from another tertiary scholarship to the Commonwealth Scholarship;
(Xii) will continue, or have held, the New Zealand Government or Australian Government scholarship in the 24 months prior to the start date scholarship;
(XIII) has been discontinued from New Zealand or Australian Government scholarship previously.
