Commonwealth Scholarship Phd College


Phd College Applicants must have completed Masters in the subject or other fields related to the minimum 65% marks for Ph.D. and must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in subjects above or other related field with minimum 65% marks for Masters level study. Where percentage marks are not available and the value mentioned, the candidate must indicate the conversion formula adopted by lnstitution / University and also should indicate equivalent percentage of marks.

(Xi) will be transferring from another tertiary scholarship to the Commonwealth Scholarship;
(Xii) will continue, or have held, the New Zealand Government or Australian Government scholarship in the 24 months prior to the start date scholarship;
(XIII) has been discontinued from New Zealand or Australian Government scholarship previously.

Black Men of America Future Leaders Scholarship PhD College


PhD College Each scholarship will allow prospective students the opportunity to complete an undergraduate or master's degree programs at University of Phoenix. Recipients can choose to attend the University of Phoenix campus on-land or to attend the University of Phoenix online.


ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA

PhD College Scholarship applicant must demonstrate the following should be considered:

PhD College Applicants who live in the United States must meet one of the following requirements: be a United States legal resident, has been granted permanent residency, have a valid visa that does not prohibit educational studies; has been granted temporary protected status along with approved Notice of Action issued by the Citizen Immigration Services and verified through CIS Form g-845, or has been granted asylum along with approved Notice of Action issued by Citizen Immigration Services.
Applicants must be affiliated with any 100 Black Men chapter or the headquarters.
Applicants must be a member or mentor of 100 Black Men.
Applicants, once enrolled, must not receive a total of 100% tuition reimbursement from any source(s) including but not limited to: corporate reimbursement, other scholarships and/or private grants with the exception of Veteran’s Administration GI benefits or Veteran’s Administration Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits and Title IV financial aid funding.
PhD College Applicants must not be currently enrolled nor in the process of enrolling at any University of Phoenix campus or in any online program at any time prior to the scholarship award date. Applicants who enroll after submitting an application or before the scholarship award date are not eligible to be a recipient of this scholarship.
Applicants must meet all admissions requirements of the University of Phoenix.

SELECTION PROCESS

The recipient of this scholarship will be selected by the scholarship selection committee consisting of representatives from University of Phoenix and/or 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Non-staff members may assist in the selection committee process.

PhD College Fellowship at the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics


The PhD College position of scholarships are open to people in all areas of study by the department of computer science and mathematics that are covered

We invite outstanding scholars of these applications. The schedule is from 15 March - 15 July 2012 - our summer semester.

PhD College Candidate Profile:
Preferably, the candidate must hold a position at the level of associate professor or higher
recognized (According to the American University system) at a tertiary educational institution (eg
University or research institution). He / she must have a PhD and speaks fluent English.


Duties:
Teaching. We expect the successful candidate to offer two courses of four teaching hours per
week each (a teaching hour lasts 45 minutes). The courses are to be taught in English.
The topics of the courses should belong to or be closely related to one of the areas mentioned
above, and complement our regular course offerings in our Bachelor and Master Degree
programs.
Research. The PhD College candidate should conduct applied research in some relevant area, and possibly
publish papers during her/his time as a fellow at the University of Applied Sciences - München. Fellowship 2012 2/2

Endowment:
Traveling Expenses. Traveling expenses between the place of residence of the fellow and
Munich will be reimbursed.
Living Expenses. The fellow will get a non-tenure contract. The remuneration will suffice to
cover the accommodation and living expenses in Munich, but is not a full salary adequate for
a professor’s position.
